Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support the Garage Manager in daily administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth office operations, maintain records, handle customer inquiries, and assist in coordinating garage activities efficiently.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Garage Manager, including scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, and organizing files.
  • Assist in managing daily garage operations, including customer interactions, work order processing, and invoicing.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle service history, parts inventory, and supplier documentation.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as required by the Garage Manager.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate with mechanics, technicians, and suppliers to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor office supplies, order inventory, and ensure the office area remains well-organized.
  • Assist in processing payments, generating invoices, and maintaining financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Garage Manager.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience as an Office Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes is advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
Work Environment & Schedule:
  • Office-based role within a garage setting.
  • Regular working hours with occasional flexibility based on business needs.
