Job Description

Overview of the roleAs the Talent Manager, the primary purpose of the role is to support the development engagement, development and learning initiatives and solutions that strengthen Al Futtaim?s human capital talent, retaining and developing high potential employees, middle managers, senior leaders, and UAE Nationals. The role will act as a strong contributor to enabling, engaging, and growing internal talent and leadership capabilities that align with Al Futtaim?s strategic goals and objectives, with a special focus on National Emirati Talent development and engagement.ÿWhat you will do

• Support review and develop the framework to identifying critical roles and successor planning. Responsible to action, follow up and review the collective and individual development needs for both critical roles and successors (primarily UAE Nationals, but not limited to)
• Support where relevant the divisional wide annual and periodical talent identification exercises with HRBPs and identify high potential talent and talent pools
• Develop high impact solutions and actions to increase the development and retention of talent, including UAE nationals. Define and communicate talent data and analytics to stakeholders as relevant
• Design and conduct assessment centers for talent validation and succession planning, including the use of various talent assessment tools/psychometrics. Design career and learning paths for defined roles and job families
• Input into the divisional leadership development strategy and objectives which caters for leaders from first time leaders to middle, and senior management
• Design and facilitate leadership skills courses to middle managers (both face to face & virtual) using various instructional and digital design techniques
• Partner with the business to conduct relevant needs diagnosis and gap analysis that input into management and leadership development strategy and planning
• Implement mentoring and coaching frameworks and tools for leadership development
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, and programs that align with the division?s Engagement strategy and priorities and the organization?s as a whole
• Facilitate impact planning and action planning workshops that enables improving engagement survey results. Conduct regular employee surveys, feedback sessions, and focus groups to assess employee engagement levels and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze employee engagement data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern, and recommend appropriate actions to address them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders to implement employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, and wellness programs.
• Lead and facilitate workshops, seminars, and other learning and development sessions to enhance employee engagement and professional development.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employee engagement initiatives and programs through key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to management. Manage division?s Talent Recognition & Awards Events
• Coordinate annual performance cycle activities and report progress from the goal setting, performance reviews. Work with HRBPs and Talent Centre to embed ?continuous performance management? culture
• Support divisional comms plan for performance management milestones and awareness in coordination with group level communication cascade
• Manage critical Emirati development programs like the Emirati Graduate programs, internship, among others.
• Execute engagement strategies to increase the retention and satisfaction of UAE Nationals by organizing and leading engagement events, such as Emirati High Performers Awards, Emirati Women day, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, government agencies, and professional organizations to support Emiratization initiatives.
