Job Description

Then come on board as a Pricing Manager (m/f/d) in Dubai !Your Role In the role of Pricing Manager (m/f/d) in the area of Air Logistics, you are the central contact person for Execution of and response to airfreight tenders/RFQs. Coordinate pricing responses to customer requests for information, proposals and quotations (including spot quotations) on a national level. Handle pricing requests projects from others pricing dept within KN Network but will also run on own initiative projects from UAE & Oman customers In charge of the KN products and QBA rates updates and competitiveness. Your Responsibilities

  • To create best-in-class responses, therefore maximising opportunities for the UAE & Oman organizations
  • To have primary responsibility for the completion of UAE & Oman tenders, working closely on rate & service solutions to meet the customer needs within the scope of the given projects
  • To coordinate KN?s responses to customer requests, proposals and quotations (including spot quotations) on a national level.
  • To review with Dxb NA-D the opportunities in the pipeline.
  • To engage withUAE & Oman Airfreight operation team for developing pricing models on key tender projects and to work on special rate analysis projects.
  • To assure the compliance to the Global & RegionalPricingprocess in every project and to utilize the existing tools for the purpose of creating reliable and successful solutions.
  • To communicate pro-actively and regularly with all involved parties.
  • Regular (weekly or monthly) reporting of the success, pipe line as well as lost opportunities.
  • To update the Rates database (AFRA, QBA, Catalogue rates).
  • Update the pricing guidelines and make sure that the process is followed.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Minimum 5 years of pricing and/or freight forwarding experience (air logistics experience a plus)
  • Professional experience in pricing in the field of air logistics
  • Analytical thinking and an affinity for numbers, paired with cost-conscious ability to act
  • Communication is your core competency, because you are in constant contact with various internal departments, partners and customers and can appear there with confidence
  • You always work quality and customer-oriented and convince with your proactive way of working. You like to think outside the box and look forward to growing professionally and personally as part of a team
