The core responsibility is to achieve the operational plan of each assigned distributor. In this strategic role, the Channel Specialist must manage the assigned accounts across all the operations they have nationally with focus on developing deep relations across levels for long term sustainable growth across division. This position requires a highly motivated and self-driven professional with the necessary strategic and analytical thinking skills to endure a constantly changing corporate business environment. Must demonstrate exceptional selling skills, as well as business planning and leadership skills, partnering with marketing, business, finance, business services (customer services, POS management).The impact you will make in this role* Collaboration with distributors and 3M sales representatives to maximize sales and increase share of wallet.* Collaborative demand between with distributors to improve demand and supply process.* Report and manage product stock levels and new product stock suggestions to generate orders* Collaborate across different 3M areas to achieve sales objectives, process optimization and elevate customer satisfaction.* Control and align 3M investment, executed with distributors through marketing development funds, with 3M?s business priorities.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: * Bachelor?s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution* Strong negotiation abilities.* Strong leadership skills and collaboration throughout different areas.* Strong computer skills & database management: PowerPoint, Excel (proficient), Word, Salesforce.com* High capability to analyze, prioritize and execute.* English: 90% Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: * Desirable financial knowledge.* Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels* Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization* Proven and successful track record in a merchandising environment* Attention to detail and ability to multi-taskSupporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life ? both physically and financially.
