Will play a key role in the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes within the Middle East for all the Revenue Streams. sKey Duties:

• Responsible for preparing and closing the Financial Statements every month in accordance with IFRS Standard and in line with the Group Policy and Procedures.
• Main point of coordination with Internal and External Auditors.
• Responsible for the Tax Filing by Country. VAT, WHT and Corporate Tax Filings ? to liaise with the designated third party to ensure information is audited and checked before filing.
• Ensure Provisions are taken in line with Group ECL Policy and communicated to the Head of Finance.
• Analyze all lines of the P&L to explain variances versus Budget/Forecast.
• Driving the budgeting and forecasting processes and ensuring all inputted information is maintained with accurate and updated working files to be reviewed at any point in time.
• Ensure Internal Controls are in place and drive efficiencies throughout the department.
• Lead and play a key Role in Project Management and liaising with the project managers to ensure accurate and precise forecasts.
• Maintaining and Reconciling Balance Sheet Schedules on a monthly Basis.
• Provide Cash Flow Forecasting Reports on a weekly basis and highlighting any areas where funds are required to maintain the operational position of each entity,
• Team Management ? coach, guide and advise the finance team members in line with standards and processes to increase operational efficiency within the finance team.
• Support with the weekly credit control meetings on collection status and agreeing on the actions assigned
• Responsible for the accounting of all transactions and ensuring that entries are posted correctly in accordance with IFRS and with Group Policy.
• Managing Payroll Payments and all employee provisions on the Balance Sheet.
• Responsible for all Q2C Dashboard reporting for identifying new and renewed deals.
• Ensure the AR and AP Functions are running according to the Processes in place.
• Maintain all customer reconciliations on Revenue Recognition and ensuring all accounts are accurate and up to date.
• Support the Business with Financial Matters as required.

QualificationsQualificationsRequired Experience

• Advanced English Proficiency
• Strong accounting background and the ability to effectively communicate financial matters when and as required.
• A proactive and intentional approach to problem solving.
• A minimum of 5 years? experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of accounting and accounting principles.
• Understanding of regional tax laws and the relevant applications in the ledger.

Preferred Characteristics and Experience

• Professional education in business administration, finance or equivalent at a reputed institution or equivalent work experience
• Finance or Accounting Certificate is a must e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or CFA is a must.
• A persistent nature and a willingness to understand and overcome operational challenges/obstacles.
• Ability to understand processes and challenges and effectively communicate internally.

Previous experience in a multinational technology company would be an advantage
