Job Description

DescriptionThe proposed position will be for a member of a managed services technical team, which is responsible for Microsoft Enterprise systems, functions and services related issues (operations, 3rd & 2nd level support). The engineer will be working in a group of IT experts locally and within multiple projects to cover the required services functionalities and availability.

  • Role and Responsibilities:Requires travelling based on work needs, when not on site, Engineers will be assisting in the development of project plans, designs and documentation for future sites
  • Designing/Planning Server Farm / Data Center Architecture.
  • Change Management: Prepare Implementation plan, rollback plan and test plan, risk and impact analysis, Peer review the change plan and documentation prepared by other colleagues in the team.
  • Participate and contribute to advanced tasks such as, capacity planning, performance monitoring, provide recommendations for improvement and implement recommendations.
  • Resolve incidents and technical tasks within agreed SLAs and quality.
  • Understanding of Networking fundamentals ? IP Addressing & Network topologies.
  • Notions of ITIL-based processes or certification (v3 Foundation level or up) will be an advantage.
