Job Title: Mentor/Facilitator for Moonshot Challenge - Technological Solutions for Power in Remote AreasLocation: UAEPosition Type: Part-timeDuration: 3 monthÿAbout the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mentor/Facilitator to guide participants in our Moonshot Challenge, which aims to develop breakthrough technological solutions for providing power to remote areas in Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, innovation, and problem-solving, with a passion for mentoring and facilitating teams to achieve transformative results.Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentorship: Provide expert guidance to teams, helping them to develop, refine, and implement innovative solutions.
  • Facilitation: Lead workshops, brainstorming sessions, and design thinking exercises to foster creative problem-solving and moonshot thinking among participants.
  • Technical Support: Offer technical insights and knowledge on relevant technologies such as renewable energy, smart grids, and off-grid power solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other mentors, industry experts, and participants to ensure a collaborative and productive learning environment.
  • Feedback and Iteration: Support teams through the prototyping, testing, and iteration process, providing constructive feedback to refine their solutions.
  • Leadership: Inspire and motivate participants, helping them to overcome challenges and stay focused on creating impactful solutions.
?Qualifications:
  • Strong expertise in technology, particularly in areas relevant to power generation and distribution (renewable energy, smart grids, off-grid solutions, etc.).
  • Experience in mentoring and facilitating teams, with a focus on innovation and design thinking.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide participants of varying levels of expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and iterative development processes.
