Job Description :Identifies and communicates abnormal patient conditions by alerting supervisory personnel, (Pathologist, Patient Physician, or Nurse) reporting mandated information to the public health department or other designated officials.Recognizes abnormal results or unusual circumstances and takes appropriate actions. Utilizes available resources to maintain and fix instruments or to solve issues in collaboration with the Pathologist doctor.Measures proper instrument maintenance, collection and analysis of appropriate samples.Ensure that to maintain TAT for each tests and perform Quality control activities as per approved SOPs.Organizes work by matching computer orders with specimen labeling, sorting specimens, checking labeling, logging specimens & keeping work surfaces clean.Retrieve patient results and reports in a timely manner and completes required documentation, which may include chain of custody
