Key Responsibilities and Duties:? Fully responsible for the preparation of accurate and complete estimates,? Translate the identified project scope into an estimate for design, procurement and construction.? Execute overall capabilities in preparing detailed estimates for various types of projects, including multi-billion-dollar oil and gas projects.? Verify MTOs and BOQs of equipment and bulk quantities from the FEED, e.g. PFDs, P&IDs and drawings.? Develop capacity factored estimates and location factor adjustments.? Build estimation using resource loading, e.g. personnel, equipment, consumables, etc.? Identify areas of uncertainty and apply appropriate allowances.? Benchmark the costs against historical performance, industry norms and established KPIs.? Review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of scope of work, including those developed by others, that may need revising to reflect the best practices in the projects.? Ensure that the estimating systems and computerized estimating tools are maintained and current in terms of being up to date and incorporating the latest state-of-art procedures.? Ensure the confidentiality of estimating information and data is maintained and access is limited.? Ensure bid deadlines and client?s presentation requirements are met.
