Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in A/C (Air Conditioning) Commissioning, Plumbing, and Electrical Works. The ideal candidate will oversee the commissioning, installation, and integration of HVAC systems, plumbing infrastructure, and electrical components in various projects. This role involves ensuring that all systems are designed, installed, tested, and operating according to project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:

  • A/C Commissioning:
  • Lead the commissioning of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, chillers, air handling units, and related mechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, perform functional performance tests, and document outcomes.
  • Verify the performance of HVAC systems, ensuring they meet design specifications and operational efficiency.
  • Plumbing Works:
  • Oversee the installation and testing of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
  • Ensure plumbing systems are installed according to design, code requirements, and industry standards.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to verify system integrity, pressure, and flow rates.
  • Electrical Works:
  • Coordinate the installation and integration of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and electrical panels related to HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Ensure electrical components are installed safely and meet all relevant electrical codes and standards.
  • Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting during the commissioning phase to ensure system reliability.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of all mechanical, plumbing, and electrical works.
  • Coordinate with other trades (e.g., structural, architectural) to ensure integrated system performance and avoid conflicts.
  • Quality Control & Compliance:
  • Ensure all mechanical, plumbing, and electrical works comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to verify compliance and quality of work.
  • Identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies in installation or commissioning processes.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Provide technical guidance to installation teams and contractors across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical disciplines.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems during commissioning and post-installation phases.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed reports on commissioning activities, including test results, system deficiencies, corrective actions, and final certifications.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all project activities and communications.
