Mechanical Design Engineer (Power Plant Projects)Job Location : Dubai, UAEKey Responsibilities:•Lead the mechanical design and engineering activities for power plant projects (Thermal, Solar CSP, Biomass, Gas, or Hybrid systems).•Develop and review mechanical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.•Ensure compliance with relevant international and local mechanical design standards (ASME, API, ISO, DIN).•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.•Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (civil, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure seamless project execution.•Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.•Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues during construction and commissioning phases.•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies.Requirements:•Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.•Minimum of 10 years of experience working on large-scale Power Plant / Renewable Energy projects (Thermal, Solar CSP, Biomass, Gas, or Hybrid systems).•Strong understanding of rotating equipment, thermal systems, fluid mechanics, and piping design.•Familiarity with international and local mechanical design standards (ASME, API, ISO, DIN).•Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.•Proven track record of successfully delivering mechanical design projects.
