Job Overview:We are a leading Electro-Mechanical Contracting Company having Head Office in Dubai and branchoffices across GCC region undertaking projects in the fields like ?Electrical Substations, Power &Desalination Plants, Metal Industry, Infrastructure (Roads/ Tunnels/ Bridges/ Airports/Seaports), Oil & Gas, Electro-Mechanical, Water Transmission Scheme and SewageTreatment Plants?.Responsibilities: Danway is looking to penetrate into EPC PV Solar Power Projects in East African & West Africanregions for which looking for Manager ? Renewable Energy, the Job description is as under:-1. Overall Operations, Administration, Business Development and profitability of the of company?sSolar PV Project, Wind Energy Project operations.2. The candidate should have track record of successfully executed a wide array of high valuedprojects involving Solar PV projects, Solar rooftop projects, electrification, transmission anddistribution projects, turnkey projects for electrical constructions, solar power plants, Wind Energyprojects etc.3. Studying detailed project plans, conducting land surveys, Sub-Contractor / Vendor selection,conduct contract and price negotiation4. Closely monitoring project planning and progress check-ins, estimating and project costs, stickingto a budget, reviewing project quality compared to the desired objectives5. Responsible for overall productivity & cost effectiveness of the projects6. Provide inputs to the Estimation Department in project costing and attend pre-tender and posttender meetings.7. Conduct kick off meetings with Project Managers at start-up of projects to confer over the projectmilestones and key dates and to detect any anticipatory risks with relevant necessary preventivemeasures.8. Explore new Business opportunities and ventures.9. Capable to lead, train and motivate the team members ensuring their positive contribution to thecompany and ensuring optimum utilization of available resources while controlling overhead costsand enhancing productivity10. Liasoning with various contractors, clients, Government and statutory authorities to settle techno-commercial disputes11. Effectively maintain the client relations in order to develop the business12. Required to collaborate with Project Managers Project Team to ensure smooth operations andfinancial wellbeing of the company within the area.13. Ensures that the client is properly billed, and those payments are received in a timely manner forall the projects14. Ensures timely Close out of projects.15. Advise the recruiting department for the selection, interviewing and hiring of new staff / workforce16. Implement controls over spending and procurement to ensure adherence to the company policy.17. Ensure a pivotal link between the project execution team and the Senior Management.18. Electrical Engineering graduate, preferably Project Management professional19. Should have strong problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills.20. Should have minimum 20 years of experience out of which at-least 10 years relevant experiencein Gulf region holding position at a higher Management & decision-making level.21. Should be ready to visit, stay for closely monitoring the execution of the Renewable energyprojects
