The International Participants Department at Expo 2020 Dubai is responsible for the management of country and multilateral participation at the Expo.The ?Manager - International Substantive Engagement? will develop and manage relationships with IOs/ NOPs (international organisations, and non-governmental organisations/ foundations, academia and corporate entities) with the purpose of designing and delivering content and programming around the Expo 2020 themes of sustainability, opportunity, and mobility.Main responibilities of the role include:- Conceptualise and set the substantive framework that will guide substantive engagement for IOs/ NOPs at Expo 2020;- Develop and manage relationships with relevant IO/ NOP stakeholders for the design and delivery of content and substantive engagement around the Expo 2020 themes;- Propose initiatives (conferences/ summits, thought leadership, campaigns ..etc) for IOs/ NOPs that address and contribute to the Expo 2020 themes and priorities;- Align with UAE local government and non-government entities to optimize UAE contribution and positioning in Expo 2020;- Develop and update project plans for the efficient and timely implementation of IO/NOP programming in Expo 2020Operational Responsibilities;- Provide weekly reports and regular updates as necessary to senior management on engagement progress.
