Department DefinitionThe Portfolio Governance department oversees policies and procedures across departments to check that they are accurate and in line with local and global best practices and codes of conduct. The department ensures that staff members are trained on compliance matters, such as bribery and corruption law, whistle blowing, and identifying and reporting on potential conflicts of interest. The department also develops a risk-management and risk-mitigation procedure to monitor financial risk.Opportunity ResponsibilitiesContribute to the delivery of an amazing Expo 2020 that meets best practice in providing assurance to the stakeholders by assisting with the compliance programme of Expo Dubai 2020 LLC, including revenue assurance.The main responsibilities of the role include:- Ensure effective execution of the Expo 2020 compliance programme and its associated policies and protocols;- Contribute to the Pre-payments audit and special reviews;- Manage the revenue assurance process independently on projects assigned;- Contribute to the management of Gifts, Entertainment and Hospitality Policy;- Lead the function responsibly and proficiently, providing effective line management to direct reports;- Set objectives and evaluate performance of individual direct reports and actively manage key personnel issues;- Ensure that all staff acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate learning and development programs.
