Overall person-in-charge of the companys books and communicates management reports to the operations manager.The management accountant should manage and oversee the whole accounting process from therecording to preparation of management reports and financial statements. He/she should also oversee the companys treasury and ensure that the bank accounts are regularly reconciled, and the cash flow is managed properly. He/she will also be in-charge in making of the annual budget/forecasts for the next financial year, in coordination with the operations team.He/she will also manage the assets and inventory of the company to ensure that all equipment and inventory are properly accounted for. He/she can suggest and implement internal controls to implement efficient processes within the business.He/she is also responsible in overseeing the annual filing of VAT returns and maintaining the validity of the companys registrations such as renewal of the business license, among others, to ensure the companys compliance to statutory laws.
