Job Description

The maintenance technician will be responsible for handling all types of maintenance work needed on the Yacht. His primary responsibilities will include fixing any broken or faulty items, implementing preventative maintenance, liaising with Yacht Captain and Engine Operator, performing regular inspections of equipment and supplies, and diagnosing and fixing any faults.Duties:

  • Regularly inspect and maintain electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, etc.)
  • Regularly inspect and maintain AC systems (routine cleaning of fan coil units, filters, and grills)
  • Regularly inspect and maintain plumbing systems (avoiding blockages and leaks in all taps, sinks, boilers, and other fixtures in the kitchen, bathrooms, and utilities)
  • Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, etc.).
  • Regularly undertake activities of pest control.
  • Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. painting) and other tasks as assigned.
