We are looking for Maintenance Mechanic for Dubai, UAE.Roles and responsibilities of a Maintenance Mechanic The Maintenance Mechanic will:? Maintenance work flow (scheduling, PM tasking, work order creation, etc.).? High level mechanical skills including basic machines (pulleys, levers, etc.), pneumatics, hydraulics, gears, reducers, bearings, lubrication, drive components (sheaves, sprockets, chain, belts, take-ups), and equipment alignment.? Participate in the repairs and preventive maintenance of all site plant and equipment? Continually monitor machinery and make necessary adjustment(s) to ensure proper operation.? Perform all levels of welding and mechanical repairs to industrial machinery present in material recovery facilities (MRF).? Repair and possible fabrication of conveyors and component parts.? Proper use of all welding and cutting equipment related to all phases of metal fabrication and repair.? Complete all paperwork and/or electronic updates as required.? Regular use of heavy industrial shop tools and equipment.? Professional interaction with internal and external customers.? Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management? Maximize the use of materials and resources to achieve high efficiencies to produce optimum equipment availabilities? Work closely with operations personnel to ensure that reliability and safety issues are dealt with in an effective and timely manner? Understanding of safety regulations, communication skills, basic computer skills, basic math skills, and the ability to read blue prints and electrical schematics.? 3-5 years Electrical experience working within the Commercial or Retail sectorAdditional responsibilities? Monitor staff discipline, holidays, sickness, overtime (for Landmark staff)? Health and Safety representative within the Distribution Centre - Ensuring safety of personnel KPI setting and review of staff ? Oversee varying maintenance to operational requirements with the contractor Spares/stores control? Planning transition to in house maintenance in the long run.
