Job Description

  1. ˙Operates and maintains workshop machinery (Lathe and milling machines.
  2. Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
  3. Selects the appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
  4. ˙Plans a proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
  5. Take every reasonable precaution for the safety of other workers and himself.˙
  6. Maintains the inventory of completed products.
  7. Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
  8. Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
  9. Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
  10. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.˙
