Job Description

Currently recruiting for a Machinist to be based in our Dubai site The Machinist ensures manufacturing processes are completed to the necessary quality standards in the required timeframe.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Programme tool set and operate the machine tools.
  • Ensure all production products are manufactured to requirements detailed in the drawing and associated specifications.
  • To develop manufacturing methodologies thus improving process lead times and consistency of manufactured parts.
  • Control internal process using available additional tools such as Statistical Process Control for small batch manufacturing environments.

  • Diploma or University degree in Engineering or relevant vocational technical qualification
Experience:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in workshop service
  • Proven experience in the field
  • Ability to discuss and negotiate at all levels
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Knowledge of John Crane products advantageous
  • Lapping and polishing knowledge
  • Knowledge of welding a plus.
  • Manufacturing vocational training or similar qualifications
  • Computer literate
Languages:
  • Speaking in Arabic is an advantage
