Key Responsibilities:Establish and develop logistics strategies and procedures tailored to the unique requirements of mining or oil and gas operations.
Build and manage logistics operations from inception, including procurement, inventory management, and transportation planning.
Oversee and coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective movement of goods.
Negotiate contracts and rates with transportation and logistics service providers.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and industry-specific governance standards.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (procurement, operations, etc.) to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
