Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator with deep knowledge of Dubai customs clearance procedures to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with specific expertise in managing customs clearance processes in UAE. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods across borders while complying with all relevant customs regulations and requirements.Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and manage all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance procedures in Dubai.
  2. Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other service providers to facilitate the timely clearance of shipments through Dubai customs.
  3. Ensure compliance with all Dubai customs regulations and requirements, including documentation, tariffs, duties, and taxes.
  4. Obtain and maintain necessary permits, licenses, and certifications required for importing and exporting goods through Dubai ports.
  5. Provide guidance and support to internal teams and external partners on customs clearance processes and requirements.
  6. Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are cleared through Dubai customs in a timely manner and delivered to customers according to schedule.
  7. Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to customs clearance, including missing or incorrect documentation, customs duties, and inspection requirements.
  8. Keep abreast of changes in Dubai customs regulations and procedures and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  9. Analyze customs clearance data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  10. Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to coordinate logistics activities and meet customer requirements.
