We are a FMCG distribution company based in JAFZA, looking for a logistics assistant for contract role for 3 months (Can be further extended).We are open for candidates from any industry, but logistics knowledge is must.Job Summary / Job Purpose:This role will handle and supervise the entire workflow process of logistics cycle. Primarily responsible in coordinating all incoming shipments are intact and accurate, prepare outgoing shipments, review shipment documentation such as invoices and packing lists, and maintain inventory of shipping supplies.Key Responsibilities:Procurement Role:Receiving sales forecast, and handle system entries like customer creation, export price list creation, sales order entries etc.Handle system entry creations of picking list, packing list, invoices, etc.Create accurate shipping documents ? including chamber of commerce, custom documents, LC documents.Coordinate with warehouse on picking list & packing list status regularly for tracking the status of in-& out shipments.Prepare shipping documents (Packing, Invoice, Delivery Advice, H.S. Code Report, etc.)Prepare Custom documents & regular follow up with Shipping and Forwarding Agents & Freight Forwards to follow ? up on Incoming and Outgoing shipments.Ensure compliance with import/export regulations/customs regulations and legal and health and safety requirements.Coordinate with transportation and logistics providers as & when required.Handling stock adjustment entries as well as sub ? inventory transfer entries.Closing backorders & inactive item codes.Prepare and submit monthly reports ? Back order / Stock aging / Distribution status reports etc.Updated Filing & archiving of all related documents.Contract length: 3 monthsJob Types: Full-time, Temporary, Internship, ContractSalary: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
