Job Description

DescriptionThe proposed position will be for a member of a managed services technical team, which is responsible for Linux systems, functions and services related issues (operations, 3rd & 2nd level support).The engineer will be working in a group of IT experts locally and within multiple projects to cover the required services functionalities and availability.Role and Responsibilities

  • Requires travelling based on work needs, when not on site, Engineers will be assisting in the development of project plans, designs and documentation for future sites.
  • Perform system software upgrades including planning/scheduling, testing, coordination and maintaining integrity of operating system environment.
  • work on a platform for monitoring, logging, and orchestration of docker applications running on Kubernetes
  • Maintain security and OS patch management for linux based systems
  • Responsible for resolving all technical incidents escalated by the L-2 team
  • Analyse˙Change Request; review change requests with the client & stake holders; validate the information and execute - High complexity; Critical & Emergency Changes
  • Resolve incidents and technical tasks within agreed SLAs and quality.
  • Documentation and knowledge sharing.
