Job Description

  • Providing legal advice and guidance to stakeholders on a variety of legal topics.
  • Provide transactional support to Financial Markets business and act as lead lawyer for complex transactions across various asset classes.
  • Collaborating with management to devise efficient defense strategies.
  • Specifying internal governance policies and effectively identify, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.
  • Researching and evaluating different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
  • Applying effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues.
  • Drafting and solidifying agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Providing clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of alterations in legislation and ensure that any regulatory reform is appropriately escalated and managed.
  • Support and oversee internal and external legal counsels and business teams to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to more junior members of the team to enable them to be highly engaged and perform to their potential.
