These services include compliance, consulting services, information technology solutions, forensic accounting and investigative services, recovery and reorganization, tax preparation, and valuation, to name a few.What is Grant Thorntons Legal Department?The Legal team at Grant Thornton is part of the Quality & Risk Management department. They are responsible for ensuring that the company?s actions are legal and compliant with applicable laws and regulations. The department provides effective solutions for risk control of various types of engagements and business activities.Why become a Legal Intern at Grant Thornton?During your internship at Grant Thornton, you will be involved in legal related matters. You will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced team members and have an opportunity to learn new skillsets, be involved in office community activities, and build lasting relationships. You will get the chance to work closely with the Legal Manager and your internship will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

• Maintaining and filing corporate records, including resolutions, board of director changes, amendments to the constitutive documents, etc.
• Providing administrative support for documents and activities related to corporate restructurings.
• Providing contract support for standard corporate agreements, such as non-disclosure agreements and providing initial legal review of contracts.
• Producing and updating documents related to the development and implementation of corporate policies and legal templates.
• Working with other members of QRM on special projects.

• Bachelor?s Degree in law or senior year of Law studies or a master?s student
• Proficiency in more than one language is a plus
• Willingness to work additional hours as needed
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Effective project and time management skills for handling multiple priorities and simultaneous projects
• Enthusiasm to learn through a combination of structured, on-the-job and self-directed training
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment with strong attention to detail
