Job Description

Our client is seeking a fluent Arabic and English speaking Legal and Compliance Officer who has 5-8 year?s relevant experience. The focus of this role is to ensure that our client functions in a legal and ethical manner while meeting its business goals. You will be responsible for developing legal and compliance programs, reviewing company policies, and advising management on possible risks. Excellent benefits package.Description:

  • Responsible for adherence to legal and regulatory framework in relation to post trade services
  • Develop and implement a legal and compliance program of the post trade services in line with regulatory framework and international IOSCO standards
  • Advise management on matters related to our client?s compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Draft and revise company policies in line with supporting regulatory framework
  • Keep abreast of changing regulatory environment and update management of impact of these changes on our client
  • Coordinate with local and international regulators, members in compliance related to CCP, and CSD
  • Develop and implement compliance framework for supervising Members
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance with ERM framework and policies and procedures for our client in line with organisation Risk objectives
  • Create reliable internal controls and monitor adherence to those controls in line with organisations objectives
  • Assist business units in recording the risks and establishing the risk register for the organisation
  • Evaluate and update the risk rating as per the audit reports and amend the risk register with new risk
  • Provide training to internal employees on necessary regulations and industry practices
