The team deals with a wide range of public and private clients.Job Responsibilities:Design of power system for facilities including water, sewerage, drainage, irrigation and fire fighting systemDesign of Dry utilities (Power and Telecom) for infrastructure projects.Perform power distribution system design including high-medium-low voltage substation, electrical utilities and facilities design, adjustable/variable speed controllers design from low to high HP machinesLeading design of Electrical system deliverbales and calculations including Single line diagrams, Cable route layouts, dry utilies and street lighting layouts, Earthing calculation and layouts, Load schedules, Arc Flash / Short-Circuit Current studiesPreparing design calculations and drawings, technical reports and presentations, tender documentation and specificationAssisting with evaluation of tender documents and material submittals.Manage other engineers and designers and helping to mentor graduate engineersMonitoring and reporting progress against time and budgetCompliance with design and QA proceduresSite visit for data collection and verificationYou may also be asked to provide on-site assistance during commissioning.Here?s What You?ll Need:A minimum of a Bachelor?s degree related to Electrical Engineering.Have significant years design experience, with minimum of 10 years design experience in the GCC in professional electrical engineering, particularly in the water / wastewater and infrastructure industry, for some of the following: design, calculation, reporting, site supervision / inspection;Be chartered from a recognized institute, or be a member who?s working on becoming charteredDemonstrate good understanding for design work flow using BIM, particularly RevitShould have very good verbal and written communication skills in English, which are essential for Client, Interdisciplinary and Vendor coordination, and coordination with other work-share officesGeneral knowledge, as a minimum, of industry practices and standards which are in use in the Middle East as applicable to electrical engineeringExperience on Authorities liason and NOC approval process (DEWA,SEWA, FEWA,..)Demonstrate experience with industry calculation tools, such as ETAP, Amtech, Dialux, AGI
