Responsible for the progress of E&I design deliverables on assigned work
Familiar with AS BUILDING process required in Oil and Gas Process plants
Must be familiar with NEC and IEC hazardous areas standards and equipment selection
Typical work scope for the E&I design includes- electrical SLDs, earthing drawings, power management systems drawings, block & loop diagrams, Layout/Interconnection/JB termination / lighting & small power/tray & racking/routing drawings etc
Understands detailed drawings (instrument and electrical)
Knowledge of E&I materials to carry out design activities and ensure that the technical and safety integrity of the design is maintained and that the Company and Project procedures are adhered to aware of and adhere to the standards, systems and processes
Maintenance of professional standards with regard to both attitude and work
Preparation of drawings and or modelling related to discipline in accordance with the agreed work scope, man-hours and schedule
Responsible for the progress and quality of deliverables of assigned work
Carry out of Onshore Site Surveys, as required, related to assigned scopes of work
Ensure that the work is carried out and managed in accordance with the requirements of Statutory Design Codes and Company Standards or Procedures
Preparation of man hour estimates, progress reporting and planning as required for assigned work scopes
Close liaison with sites Electrical and Instrument Operations personnel required for surveys and access to energised electrical and instrument equipment
Co-ordination with site personnel to raise appropriate permit to work documents for survey and access to energised electrical equipment
Liaison with Company engineering teams to support delivery of assigned work
Skills / Qualifications
Higher Electrical or Instrument qualification (HNC/D or equivalent)
Work experience in the respective position of not less than 15 years
Autocad 2019 experience
Autocad 2019 3D modelling (preferred)
Minimum 8yrs Experience
