Job DescriptionQualification:Minimum of 3 years experience in the commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration maintenance field. Preferably Indian. High School GraduatePrimary Role:Maintain, Repair, and Install kitchen related equipment as required in the Restaurants. Maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all food service (kitchen) systems.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types kitchen and refrigeration systems.Install new kitchen and refrigeration equipment and systems when required.Relocate and expand existing kitchen and refrigeration systems as required.Repair, replace, or calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring.Fabricate, assemble, and install electrical wiring, controls and piping according to specifications.Wire and connect motors, compressors, temperature controls, and humidity controls according to wiring schematics.Maintain Freon dispensing records to meet federal requirements.Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all kitchen and refrigeration equipment, including changing of filters and cleaning condensers and coils. 9. Perform all scheduled preventive maintenance and cleaning on all kitchen and refrigeration equipment as needed. 10. Assist energy manager to complete energy conservation surveys to realize most efficient, cost effective use of kitchen and refrigeration energy.Receive and complete work orders.Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.Maintain inventory of district-owned tools, equipment, and materials.Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.Detect needed repairs on equipment following established inspection procedures.Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition.Follow established safety procedures and techniques
