The role of the Kiosks Manager will be responsible of the development, management and commercialisation of the Design and Crafts collections and the programme in general and to work with the Director and Senior Manager Design and Craft to ensure we deliver a truly exceptional Expo with a meaningful legacy.The main responsibilities for this role include:?- Create a clear Retail road map with efficient breakdown of tasks and milestones to complete projects within timelines and revenue generation;- Identify and appoint suitable retail operators, who will be the best possible partners for Expo 2020, bearing in mind experience, distribution strategy, scalability, commercial returns and financial security;- The development and refinement of the retail strategy, forecasting sales and royalty revenues.? Keep accurate and continually updated forecasts by retailer, retaining full awareness of sales performance, marketing activities and distribution channels; online included;- Reinforce Expo 2020 Dubai commitment to local and international small and medium enterprises (SMEs), providing opportunities for them to expand and strengthen their current businesses through product merchandising and additional distribution channels;- Management and operational responsibilities and tasks;- Ensure collaborative relationships with the department and organization such as Real Estate and Venue Overlay, Venue Operations, Logistics and Management, Marketing and Communications, Finance, Partnerships & Partner Services and operations to ensure Retailers? agreements are adhered to and that store designs are approved, KPI Service levels adhered to, customer service standards are exception;- Manage milestones of the Retail aspect, monitoring and reporting on process and sales;- Manage and lead the purchasing and commercial deals with local and international providers adding to all needed and required tasks to assure the best implementation and effective function;- Manage and coordinate with the collaborators, inhouse or aboard, in all needed and required tasks for the correct development of sales, retail, commercial part of the programme;- Foster a strong business relationship with the local, regional and international business partners;- Assure the required sales and possible investment to raise funds for The Designer Fund;- Coordinate the sales team and the volunteers.
