Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Review backup documents to ensure signature approvals are in place for invoices and payments.
  • Processing of payments after review of supporting documents, accounting entries and necessary approvals.
  • Review the procedures for making bank deposits to ensure controls are adequate to protect against fraud.
  • To check receipts and backup documents and do the data entry for reports presented to stakeholders or upper management
  • Working with the senior auditor and helps to organize and plan the steps to conduct the audit.
  • Assist to Conduct ? in accordance with IA standards, segments of financial, operational and compliance audits.
  • Obtain required information directly or indirectly through examination of records or interviews with staff.
  • For the processes audited, review and evaluate the system of management controls and assess their adequacy and effectiveness and, where appropriate, draft potential recommendations for improvements.
  • Draft segments of the reports and communications on the results of work performed, for review by the Head, IA Mngr or by the auditor-in-charge.
  • Assess the reliability and effective use of internal controls and assist in reviewing administrative procedures.
  • Field Wok : Perform all field work in a competent and professional manner. Provide evidential support for all report recommendations.
  • Preliminary Survey :Assist in development and preparation of the survey approach.
  • Audit Programs/Development/changes : With manager approval, assist to develop audit programs necessary to promote effective audit coverage.
