Key Responsibilities:General Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, ensuring they align with company policies and accounting standards.Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices are processed and paid on time and that customer payments are properly recorded.Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements with company records, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.Payroll Assistance: Assist in the processing of payroll by preparing payroll information, calculating employee wages, and ensuring that taxes and deductions are accurately applied.Financial Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports by providing necessary information and reconciling accounts.Filing and Documentation: Organize and maintain financial records, ensuring all supporting documentation is accurate and accessible for audits or internal reviews.Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies while maintaining data accuracy.Supporting Senior Staff: Assist senior accountants or finance managers with various accounting tasks, including financial analysis and year-end closing activities.Requirements:Education: A minimum of an associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A bachelors degree is a plus but not required.Experience: 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance, preferably in a junior role or similar capacity.*Job Types: Full-time, Contract
