Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting in various accounting tasks, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, have a solid understanding of accounting principles, and be eager to learn and grow within the finance department.

  • Assist in accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements.
  • Aid in accounts receivable functions, such as generating and sending invoices, monitoring accounts for timely payments, and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support senior accountant and managers in various ad hoc tasks and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
