Jr Accountant will report to the Finance Manager and will be responsible to prepare accounting and report services such as asset, liability, and capital account entries and maintaining financial transactions for all accounts.?This role requires an experienced individual with 2+ years? experience preferably in retail industry.   • Prepare asset, liabilities and capital accounts
  • Prepare, analyze and report variances on balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other financial reports
  • Consolidate, maintain and analyze client accounts.
  • Develop ad hoc excel report building both internally and for clients
  • Assist with the accounting operations, including internal month end close and ensuring on time reporting.
  • Review and maintain existing contracts, accounting systems and procedures to advice clients and internal teams on timely invoicing
  • Recommend financial actions by analysing accounting options.?
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.?
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.?
  • Prepare monthly Bank reconciliation reports.
  • Update, file and maintain VAT return records in a timely manner.
  • Record and report of Financial data according to applicable International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual forecasts.
  • Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests.
?Other Responsibilities
  • Complies with?UAE?financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.?
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.?
  • Assist with payroll processing.?
