Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:Analyzes, designs, and develops computer software required to support hardware or technical service products. Reviews system architecture and selects and implements appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance. Tests and debugs related software. Incumbents typically have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing and auditing the reliability and security, testing and integration of field and central system elements?
  • Oversee and audit the development of a complex, extensive Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) developed to function in a virtualized environment..
  • Oversee and audit
  • Field CCTV Camera System integration with state-of-the art Digital Video Management System (DVMS)
  • Field Radar Vehicle Detectors (RVD) integration with headend software.
  • Field Bluetooth Detectors integration with headend software.
  • Field Roadway Weather Information Systems (RWIS) integration with headend software.
  • Integration DVMS, and RVD, BT and RWIS headend software into the ATMS.
  • Integration and connection of other Agency systems with the ATMS.
  • Support and evaluation of Center-to-Center (C2C) integration/data and video exchange
  • Support and evaluation ATMS web and mobile interfaces.
