Job PurposeDefine and implement the IT Service Continuity Management framework for the Emirates Group mitigating the risk of major disasters, and ensuring that adequate measures are taken to reduce the potential impact on the business. Organise and coordinate audits of IT in liaison with Group Internal and External Audit entities. Ensure that adequate measures are taken by stakeholders to address issues of non-compliance Job Outline:- Responsible for the IT Service Continuity Management Process, ensuring a fully documented process with owners and also test its smooth operation. Ensure that relevant process performance targets are set, and are met, as well as process improvements are continuously identified, tested and corrective actions are implemented. Regularly report on performance indicators to the Technology Leadership Team.- Work with heads of relevant areas of IT Capabilities to develop and implement measures to prevent, detect, prepare for and mitigate the effects of disasters to reduce the impact on business. Ensure support and commitment from internal IT teams on the disaster recovery plans and ensure ongoing verification and validation.- Pull together the need for additional infrastructure and staff facilities for potential disaster management. Take end-to-end responsibility for cost-effective implementation of the same without compromising on performance levels.- Assess the operational readiness of disaster recovery plans by conducting tests and mock disasters, and communicate the results to senior management. Review disaster recovery plans for physical infrastructure (data-centres) as well as applications as well as developing and administering training and awareness procedures.- Responsible for regular reviews, audits and updates on the processes & systems related to IT Service Continuity. Assess the On-shore and off-shore locations for disaster recovery of sites.- Assist Business Continuity Management planning of Emirates Group departments. Participate and contribute for running the mock disaster recovery plans and in case of disaster recovery.- Bring together staff of different disciplines in IT and co-ordinate a network of Internal and External auditors to conduct process / chapter / project audits in IT.- Drive stakeholders and chapter/process owners to plan, formulate and implement comprehensive preventive/corrective actions to address non-compliances reported by internal and external audit entities.Qualifications & Experience- Information Technology.Other : 5+ Years- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)- Degree in Information Management or Computer Science or similar.- Experience in applying ISO/IEC 20000 or ISO 22301 or Business Continuity with specific focus on IT Service Continuity.- Knowledge/skills: Certifications/Qualification on frameworks such as ITIL or ISO/IEC 20000, CBCI/CBCM/ISO22301 and Risk Management or similar.- Leadership Role : NOSalary & BenefitsJoin us in Dubai and enjoy an attractive tax-free salary and travel benefits that are exclusive to our industry, including discounts on flights and hotels stays around the world.
