Job Description

We are looking for an IT Project Lead for a fixed term contract of one year and be assigned with a well-known entity based in Dubai. This role will be responsible for leading assigned projects as per PMO methodology. Monitor project schedules, resources, and quality to ensure successful delivery.Other responsibilities will include:

  • Lead all assigned projects as per the PMO methodology and enforces project standards
  • Monitor project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
  • Lead the development of project deliverables for each project stage.
  • Develop a baseline project schedule and monitor project progress against it (actual versus planned targets).
  • Define and document projects Risk, Actions, Issues and Dependencies
  • Define and document project Change Request and ensure adherence to GIT change management process.
  • Identify and resolve project interdependencies in collaboration with the concerned project managers.
  • Identify key project stakeholders and assigns individual responsibilities
  • Support project managers as needed.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately as per standards
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Ensures projects meet industry leading quality standards.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the projects to all stakeholders.
  • Develops effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:Education
  • Degree: Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
  • Preferred professional certifications: Industry certification in project management (e.g. PRINCE II, PMP, etc.).
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience working with IT implementation, delivery, or project management.
Minimum Knowledge
  • Must possess strong business analysis, creative thinking, and change management techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skill and be able to deal with people at all levels confidently.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Project.
  • The ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions.
