Ensure the most cost-effective and efficient use of equipment and programs.
Suggest and provide IT solutions to business and management problems.
Develop, implement, and maintain web-based content and web-based application deployment.
Assist with the analysis, development and implementation of processes related to the online needs, monitor the website usage and enhance the company?s web presence.
Develop programs and databases for the company needs
Identify and evaluate future and emerging technologies in information security.
Develop and maintain the annual operating and capital budgets.
Provide training and technical support for the employees with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
Undertake routine preventive measures to implement maintain and monitor network security.
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating NRS Relief?s outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing NRS Relief?s acceptable code of conduct.
Preserves company information by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
Information Technology Management
Monitor and support Oracle NetSuite ERP System.
Monitor and support HRMS System.
Maintaining and Monitoring the Application server (IIS) and database server for HRMS.
Administering and troubleshooting servers ranging from Windows Servers 2016, Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, Fileserver and VMWARE hypervisor.
Maintaining and Monitoring NAS / ISCSI storage infrastructure.
Monitoring and supporting MS Office 365 & Rackspace Email subscription and user queries.
Maintaining and Monitoring firewall, VPN and network infrastructure.
Maintaining and monitoring wireless infrastructure.
Monitor and manage web domain registration and renewal.
Monitor and manage Avaya telephonic infrastructure.
Monitor and manage access control system and CCTV infrastructure.
Management
Providing the IT Assistant with clear objectives and communicating job expectations and departmental plans.
Monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling.
Manage performance reviews and facilitate development needs.
Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintain a safe and secure work environment, ensuring reasonable care is taken at all times and complying with policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety within NRS Relief.
Other Duties
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
