Irrigation EngineerJob Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates:•Design and plan irrigation systems for landscaping projects, including drip, sprinkler, and underground systems, tailored to specific plant needs.•Review and assess project requirements to select the best irrigation technologies and methods.•Oversee the installation of irrigation systems, ensuring all installations are completed to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.•Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of irrigation systems, including adjusting sprinkler heads, replacing damaged parts, and ensuring proper water distribution.•Conduct site assessments to evaluate the efficiency of existing irrigation systems and suggest improvements or upgrades.•Provide recommendations for system upgrades, water-saving technologies, and landscape optimization.•Implement water-efficient practices and systems to minimize water waste and ensure sustainability.•Evaluate water usage data and ensure systems comply with local regulations regarding water conservation.•Introduce and recommend smart irrigation technologies such as weather-based controllers, soil moisture sensors, and automated irrigation systems.•Work closely with landscape architects, designers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of irrigation systems with overall landscaping designs.•Prepare detailed reports on irrigation system performance, maintenance schedules, and any system modifications or issues.•Provide on-site training for staff and maintenance teams on the operation and upkeep of irrigation systems.•Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns related to irrigation systems and providing expert advice.•Offer support for troubleshooting and resolving irrigation-related issues promptly.Required Qualifications:•Bachelors degree in Irrigation Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.•Minimum 3-5 years of experience in designing, installing, and maintaining irrigation systems, preferably within the landscaping industry in UAE•Experience with both residential and commercial landscaping projects is an advantage.
