Job Description

  • Maintain and further enhance the firm?s absolute returninvestment track record.
  • Direct and ensure a healthy portfolio for the company, in order to achieve set revenue targets.
  • Direct operations of the subsidiaries/affiliates to achieve budgeted results and other financial criteria, and to preserve the capital funds invested in the enterprise.
  • Lead the business development activities and partnerships between the company and its potential partners, to enable for a stronger capability of business expansion and market penetration.
  • Work closely with the EVP to ascertain and evaluate new projects received for profitability and viability and to mitigate downside risk on investments.
  • Develop different investment lines for the company to distribute in line with market expectations and propose and implement investment solutions to satisfy the regional and international ambitions of the company.
  • Lead capital market development, including participation in bank meetings, analyst meetings, and more.
  • Preparing the necessary exercises to increase the value of the subsidiaries/affiliates (such as Portfolio Rationalization which includes analysis and recommendation, activating the Board of Directors, creating synergies withsubsidiaries/affiliates... etc.).
  • Ensure subsidiaries reach operation efficiency and assess the variance of performance (Operationally) from the master business plan.
  • Oversee the preparation of necessary exercises to assess effectively the capital allocation of Companies (Deviation of Investment milestones, % deviation from target budget?controlling budget?. And investment Savings made from Efficiency).
  • Assess effectively the governance and monitor the subsidiaries.
