Job Description

Support Warehouse Manager to liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies as required. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory. Update and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and dispatches. Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure proper handling and storage of goods. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify the accuracy of inventory records. Reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records, investigating and resolving any issues. Prepare and submit reports on audit findings and inventory status to management. Ensure that all inventory data is accurately entered into the warehouse management system (WMS) and other tracking tools. Review and update inventory records regularly to reflect any changes in stock levels, locations, or conditions. Monitor and address any data entry errors or discrepancies promptly. Analyze inventory trends and data to identify opportunities for improvement in inventory management and stock control. Implement best practices for inventory control to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs. Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to plan and manage inventory replenishment. Generate and review reports on inventory performance, stock levels, and discrepancies to provide insights into inventory management. Provide recommendations to management based on inventory analysis and performance metrics. Assist in preparing reports for audits, financial reviews, and other operational assessments. Identify and recommend improvements to inventory management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implement process changes and technology solutions to streamline inventory control and reduce errors. Monitor the effectiveness of process improvements and make adjustments as needed. Ensure adherence to all rules and regulations including Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority, QHSE, and UAE Labor Law. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of inventory transactions, audits, and other relevant records. Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory audits and inspections. Coordinate with warehouse staff, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth inventory operations. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address inventory-related issues and provide updates on stock status. Collaborate with external partners, such as suppliers and logistics providers, to manage inventory flows and resolve any issues. Ensure individual and team compliance with Company policies and procedures in its entirety. Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.
