As Internal Auditor you will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and maintenance of internal audit policies and procedures as arranged and assessing the requirements in accordance with the local regulator.Client DetailsThe client, based in Dubai, is one of the largest banks in the world. It operates through the following business segments: Corporate Banking, Personal Banking, Treasury, and Others.DescriptionImplementing an annual audit plan and assist on defining audit objectives Communicating auditor results in order to ensure that any identified issue and associated risks are fully understood and to obtain agreement on proposed recommendations Preparing and conducting audit exit conferences Drafting the audit reports and submitting the draft reports to section chief Conducting following-up audit in relation to findings and rectification Conducting special audits as required by management and issue resultsProfileBe willing and able to work in Dubai; excellent understanding of Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) requirements is mandatory At least 3 years of job experience of external and / or internal audits in banking industry, preferably with banking business, AML or credit risk management exposures. Relevant professional qualifications, such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CFA is a plus. Familiar with knowledge of finance, compliance, AML and risk management of banking, IIA, internal audit, requirements of DFSA. Good analytical, communication and report writing skills.
