Job OverviewAt Albal Interior LLC, Interior Designers play a significant role in achieving our passion for class products. Our Design Team sets a pace developing exclusive, holistic solutions for new and exciting, customer-focused experiences against their interiors.Designers are expected to create and drive visionary aesthetics, advancing creative solutions and continually creating new automotive trends and convincing solutions.As our product evolves, so do our designers.We are currently seeking an Interior Designer with a variety of backgrounds, but with substantial experience levels. Candidates should have experience in the development of interior themes and work on the execution of design as well. Ability to demonstrate excellent 2D and 3D communication skills as well as demonstrating excellent visualization skillsets. Interior Design Candidates must also demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, leadership, and presentation qualities within their body of work as well as in a communicative fashion.Candidates are expected to collaborate with other designers, engineers and developers, working in team-oriented environments on diverse programs and projects.Related work experiences we are looking for a candidate that can thrive in a fast-paced environment, deliver as a way of life, and is inspired to make a positive impact.Team members are expected to establish effective working relationships, founded on trust and transparency, with our internal and external partners.Sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive decisions through consensus and influence change are a must.Responsibilities

• Meet clients determine requirements and needs
• Design and create solutions - sketch, plans, and specifications
• Develop presentations that may include drawings, sketches, renderings, perspectives, color and material boards, photographs, or models
• Prepare working drawings and specifications for implementing the design (including material finishes, joinery work, and furnishings)
• Consider materials, effects and costs, liaise with suppliers, arrange samples and prepare specifications.
• Collaborate with professional and technical consultants (mechanical, electrical and structural engineers, architects, audio-visual consults)
• Report timescales and progress to the manager related to design finalization
• Discuss price quotations for designs and draftsman for the technical details and guide them on all design matters.
• Preparing the scope of work and timeline for team and drawings and conceptual details
• Nominate suppliers and contractors according to the design and materials selected by the client.
• Provide weekly report to Operational Head for projects assigned and design issues and changes
• Attend coordination meetings with regards to all design matters
• Conduct coordination meetings with other consultants where required
• Check drawing packages before issuance to owners and site
• Following up preparing the material list, sample boards
• Anticipate design work to be produced, time frames and resources where needed as realistic programs.
• Follow up preparing of working construction shop drawings and coordinate with the structural drawings
• Follow up and coordinate between factory and project manager, engineers, sub-contractors and client representative at all times at all steps of the project from initiation to handover, this will involve monitoring and follow up on any expected variations ensuring that that design has been followed by all parties.
