UAE Nationals OnlyAmazons Business Mobility Services team within Employee Experience and Technology centrally manages global immigration filings and delivers projects to improve quality, cost and compliance of immigration services across Amazons global businesses.Amazon UAE is seeking an Immigration Consultant to support the needs of our growing UAE immigration team based in Dubai. As a highly motivated and experienced UAE immigration practitioner, you will be responsible for managing the end to end immigration application requirements of Amazon international employees transferring to or already working in UAE. You will work within a highly productive team organized into coordination, typing and government liaison sub-teams, and report to the UAE Immigration Team Manager.A day in the lifeAbout the hiring groupJob responsibilities. Provide written and verbal UAE immigration advice to Amazon employees, HR, recruitment and other business stakeholders. Plan and keep track of all tasks required as part of an immigration process (case) . Coordinate with colleagues for submission of applications, collection of documents post approval and liaison with government officials. Update immigration application progress in the immigration case management system in order to facilitate timely updates and reporting to the employee, recruiters etc . Coordinate the collection of documents and draft application materials including forms and letters for review and signature by the required stakeholders. Partner with other internal teams, to continually streamline service delivery and improve processes and overall user experience. Be well versed on required HR policies, procedures, and online government systems in order to provide advice on related and current practices and procedures at an advanced level.. Maintain excellent understanding of UAE immigration regulations and policies and communicate timely updates to colleagues, applicants and business stakeholders. Ensure all queries and complaints are dealt with in a timely manner and be the point of contact for any escalated cases.. Continuously review systems, procedures and practices to identify shortcomings and recommend best practice solutions to increase efficiency and performance. This includes developing e-smart services and use of online portals to provide efficient services.. Participate in regular team meetings, to contribute to group discussions on areas of potential improvements and to resolve issues of a broader policy nature.. Develops own professional expertise by on-the-job and formal training and developing networking and contacts within Immigration, MOL and GPSSA.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS . 3 -5 years of hands-on UAE corporate immigration experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills . Arabic speaker preferred . Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Process optimization experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
