Job Description

Our client is seeking a candidate with previous employment in a management consultancy, policy or academic institution and/or a think tank. In this role you will work closely with the Ideation Center director, fellows, and project teams to produce differentiated intellectual capital through conducting research on various policy areas in the region. Duties and responsibilities include undertaking innovative and evidence-based research and analysis, writing, and supporting in marketing activities to drive the Ideation Center and expand its impact and outreach. There is the possibility that the salary is negotiable for the right candidate.Description:

• Conduct effective and thorough research and identify relevant data and information sources
• Synthesize complex information to identify trends and meaningful conclusions to inform research analysis and decision-making
• Leverage diverse research and analytical tools such as economic modelling, surveys, benchmarking, interviews, etc. to enrich the analysis
• Keep up-to-date and leverage the latest socio-economic developments and diverse innovations across sectors to inform research/analysis
• Analyze and forecast market trends, and assess the implications of these trends on the various sectors
• Research, synthesize, and forecast future developments that could affect various sectors
• Identify the optimal data visualization approaches to present analytical findings
• Document and provide ?audit trail? for factual assertions, and assumptions/ underlying issues in analyses
• Leverage technology where appropriate to make data-driven decisions
• Support in breaking down and analyzing complex problems and situations, and utilize problem solving skills to bring order to unstructured problems
• Support in analyzing complex problems and in devising pragmatic and innovative solutions
• Leverage the firm?s network and service offerings to contribute to the problem-solving process
• Work in an agile way to accommodate changing priorities and business needs and able to juggle several tasks at the same time
• Support in tailoring ICr content to different contexts and audiences
• Contribute to the writing process by developing reports and working closely with editors
• Work closely with the various teams to ensure final production (e.g., creative design, layout, etc.)
• Understand emerging trends, innovations, concepts, and news globally and in the GCC
• Support in idea generation and brainstorming sessions, contributing to solution designs, baseline understanding, and overall solution delivery
• Effectively work with other client staff members/experts and Ideation Center team members to shape the scope and undertake the analysis and the delivery
• Identify and leverage existing firm intellectual capital
• Support in identifying external potential partnerships that can offer advanced contributions to the project at hand
• Identify innovative approaches to communicate thought leadership content
• Present ideas articulately and persuasively to colleagues and client
• Support in the development of marketing and communication plans, in terms of PR, digital and social media, in partnership with MarCom?s team
• Support in organizing events relevant to the ICr to promote its positioning and outputs
• Support in the development of partnerships with other knowledge partners, including think tanks, universities, etc.
• Support in following up with contractors and other departments on progress of work
