Identify health and safety requirements/improvements and monitor the performance of Sercos health, safety and quality programs. Key accountabilities * Management of HSQE in the workplace, ensuring consultation and communication amongst employees and management. * Implement programs to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all personnel. * Drive the HSQE risk management process within the company by providing support and educating staff in risk analysis / hazard identification and review and development of policies and procedures. * Identify training needs and provide HSE training to staff, including annual testing of emergency responses. What we are looking for in our candidates: * Able to foster good relations with colleagues and other departments and be a good team player.* Flexibility, excellent attention to detail and ability to identify key issues.* Able to work under stringent deadlines and a high-pressure environment.* Ability to maintain employee, contractor, and customer confidentiality. Specific requirements * Four (4) years minimum experience working in a QHSE organization.* Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences and/or Medical Laboratory Technology.* Holder of a NEBOSH National General Certificate.* ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001 Internal Auditor Training Certificate.
