Job Description

GC Manpower Facilities Management is seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused HSE Officer to join our team for a 6-month contract position.˙In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our staff, clients, and the general public within our facilities management operations.Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective safety programs and procedures to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide safety training and awareness sessions for staff working within our facilities management projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE incidents, inspections, and training activities.
  • Liaise with government regulators and ensure adherence to all applicable HSE legislation.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum diploma in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or a related field.
  • Valid NEBOSH certificate or equivalent HSE qualification (preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience working as an HSE Officer in a facilities management or similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of relevant HSE regulations and legislation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid UAE drivers license (preferred).
