  • Driving implementation of IHG?s human rights and responsible labour policies at hotel level/in region.
  • Supporting compliance in line with government mandated nationalization targets
  • Effective Program Management of the Ethics Hotline Feedback
Human rights and responsible labour implementation
  • Drive implementation of IHG?s human rights and responsible labour policies at hotel-level for IMEA (initial focus on responsible recruitment and onboarding practices, worker accommodation standards, due diligence of third-party labour suppliers and recruitment agencies, worker voice) and work with global teams on the evolution of these policies/requirements over time
  • Develop tools/resources/guidance to help hotels implement human rights and responsible labour policies
  • Support on hotel/country human rights/responsible labour assessments and drive the implementation of country/hotel action plans to address findings . Support on ad hoc queries from hotel colleagues on these topics relative to specific challenges
  • Liaise with HR in other regions on these topics and support on external collaboration and engagement on these topics
Training and awareness
  • Support on the training and/or onboarding of HR hotel colleagues on IHG?s responsible labour and human rights approach
  • Drive awareness of human rights/responsible labour policies through communications/ training to hotels
Remedy
  • Lead on remediation of issues (and creation of action plans) identified through projects/market assessments/hotline/external allegations in line with IHG?s remedy approach and being the key point of contact on these items
Audit and Reporting
  • Support on design and implementation of monitoring and measuring implementation of IHG?s human rights and responsible labour policies, and carry out targeted auditing, when applicable
  • Provide input on these topics to global teams for IHG?s internal and external reporting
Nationalisation
  • Assist IMEA HR Head in reviewing progress / monitoring the achievement of ?government assigned targets? w.r.t nationalisation, to mitigate risk to the business across IMEA.
  • Effectively support in execution of / in driving critical projects.
Ethics Hotline Management
  • Program Management - Lead the IMEA Monthly Ethics Committee Meetings to review progress on colleague reports and proactively manage anticipated risk to reputation. Driving best practice sharing to proactively address colleague concerns thereby reducing the footfalls on the Ethics Portal
Educational Attainment:
  • Bachelor?s Degree
Critical Expertise & Experience:
  • Minimum [5] years? experience in a Hotel HR Leadership /Operations Managerial role, preferably in the GCC Region .
  • Experience in managing compliance in line with Labor Laws , Human Rights Guidelines or Ethical Recruitment practices
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in Arabic language is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to influence, collaborate and interact with multiple teams
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet deadlines, with a strong project-driven approach
Strong analytical and organisational skills
