Partner with and advise line managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, talent management, development and employee relations
Partner with line managers to ensure that all business units in the region are fully compliant with HR, legal and company requirements
Act as a business partner, diagnosing issues, identifying needs and providing creative, commercial solutions in line with business objectives
Identify and assess HR issues which need to be brought to the attention of the rest of the HR team, and act upon them as necessary; assigning responsibilities among the team accordingly
Take a proactive role in suggesting ideas and creating new procedures to ensure the continued improvement and development of the HR function, driving business success through service excellence
Ensure line managers (including senior management) understand, communicate and adhere to HR policies and procedures
Lead, motivate, inspire and develop direct reports while providing an excellent example to the rest of the HR team and the wider organisation
Work with line managers to recruit, train, and develop staff ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner with qualified and appropriate employees
Develop and deliver training sessions to line managers as required
Ensure all employee relations issues are dealt with in an effective manner, partnering with line managers when necessary. This includes conducting disciplinary meetings, termination meetings
Provide reliable and trusted employment law advice. Liaise with internal and external legal counsel where appropriate
