The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive first impression, managing guest seating, and ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service. As a Restaurant Hostess, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience and maintaining the smooth operation of the restaurant.Key Responsibilities:•Warmly welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.•Manage the seating arrangement by assigning tables according to guest preferences and restaurant capacity. Handle reservations and waitlists efficiently.•Provide exceptional service by addressing guest inquiries, handling special requests, and resolving any concerns promptly and courteously.•Coordinate with the restaurant staff, including servers and kitchen personnel, to ensure seamless service and efficient table turnover.•Manage and update reservations using the restaurant’s reservation system. Confirm, modify, and cancel bookings as necessary.•Maintain and update waitlists during peak times. Inform guests of expected wait times and keep them updated on their status.•Ensure that the entrance and waiting area are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.•Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, taking reservations, and processing guest feedback.Qualifications:•Previous experience in a similar role or customer service is preferred.•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.•Professional appearance and demeanor in line with the restaurant’s standards.•Familiarity with reservation management systems and basic office software.•Fluency in English is required.
